Overview

When the application opens, the home screen serves as a hub for important nationwide water and climate information and situation summaries. Its content and functions are organized into the following groups:

1. Personal Data View Tabs

Users can select tabs to switch among three data views based on their area of interest.

• Overview Displays a nationwide situation summary.

• My Area Displays weather and water information for the user’s current location.

• Favorite Stations Displays information only from monitoring stations saved as favorites.

2. Disaster Warning and Monitoring

This section reports urgent daily events that require close monitoring.

• Today’s Weather Provides a daily weather overview.

• Storm Tracking Shows storm formation and movement. If there is no storm, the status is “No Storm”.

• Drought Monitoring Identifies areas that require special monitoring for water-shortage risk.

• Flood Risk from Heavy Rain Warns of areas at risk of flooding or flash floods up to 48 hours in advance, with details at the subdistrict level.

3. Air Quality Index and Rainfall

• Air Quality (PM2.5) Displays fine-particle levels by province, with color-coded safety levels and warnings, such as red when levels affect health.

• 24-Hour Accumulated Rainfall Ranks the stations with the highest accumulated rainfall over the past 24 hours, measured in millimeters.

4. Streamflow and Reservoir Conditions

• Maximum Water Level: Shows water levels in major rivers by area as a percentage of channel capacity, with status criteria such as “High Water.”

• Large Reservoirs: Summarizes conditions at large dams nationwide, showing both “Total Stored Water” and “Usable Water”, along with water-security criteria such as Moderate or Critically Low.

• Usable Water in Four Major Chao Phraya Basin Dams: Provides usable-water data for Bhumibol, Sirikit, Pa Sak Jolasid, and Khwae Noi Bamrung Daen dams.

5. Marine Conditions Forecast

• Gulf of Thailand Wave Forecast: Shows forecast wave heights for the upper and lower Gulf of Thailand, with color-coded ranges such as below 1 meter or 1–2 meters, to support planning by fishers and mariners.

This shortcut menu appears on the home screen for convenient access. Users can view information and manage which menus are displayed, as shown.

After users “Login”, they can edit the shortcut menus displayed in the application.
